These rainbow-colored bathing cabins provide a colorful backdrop along the coast of Port Philip Bay in the Mornington Peninsula. They have no water or electricity inside and are passed down from generation to generation. It is almost impossible to get one because they are in such high demand.
Don’t miss them if you walk from the beaches of Mount Eliza, Dromana to Rosebud and Portsea. They have become emblematic, a tourist attraction in their own right and give a special cachet to these beaches.
I had to take hundreds of pictures of them.
