Queenscliff is a small town on the Bellarine Peninsula located in southern Victoria, Australia, south of Swan Bay at the entrance to Port Phillip. It is characterized by a strong European heritage, by its maritime character and of course by its lasting link with the sea. The town is dotted with museums, large hotels and many restaurants.
It is from this small town that you take the ferry to cross the bay from the Great Ocean Road area to the Mornington Peninsula. The crossing, which takes about 40 minutes, is really nice.
