As I told you in this article, I really liked Singapore, this surprising city that did not correspond at all to what I imagined. Much less urban, much greener. A city in Asia between tradition and modernity where the standard of living is high. If you also want to discover this city-state, if you make a stop there for a few days and that you ask yourself what to do, what to see, what to visit in 3 days on siteread this article. Everything I liked is here!
1 – Stroll in Chinatown
The neighborhood around the time is very lively, very commercial and very colorful. Look at the houses :

Visit the temple (don’t forget the rooftop, so peaceful with its prayer wheel) and if you have time, get a foot massage from a Chinese foot reflexology specialist in one of the many shops around. Count 20 Singapore dollars for 30 minutes of massage.

2 – Visit the Kampong Glam neighborhood
Don’t miss the beautiful mosque and the alleys around Haji Lane: lots of pretty colorful houses and street art.

3 – Photograph the Merlion, the symbol of Singapore, half lion, half mermaid.
It’s a cliché, but it does it anyway! It would be like coming to Paris without photographing the Eiffel Tower.

4 – Think of yourself as an instragrammer and photograph Rochor Center from all angles.

These 4 buildings of blue, yellow, pink and green colors make their happiness. Look at the hashtag on Instagram. Unfortunately they must be destroyed in September 2016 to make way for the North South Expressway.
5 – Lose yourself in Little India

Scents, flavors, colors, it’s all there!
6 – Visit the Katong district
My favorite part of Singapore. It is full of small colorful shops and is the stronghold of the Peranakan culture, that is to say, of people born here but of parents of Chinese or Indian origin on one side and uneasy on the other.

Too beautiful!
7 – Take the peepers at the botanical garden.

Botanical Garden Singapore
Don’t miss the part dedicated to orchids. It’s beautiful.
8 – Marvel at Gardens by the bay
These ecological gardens include on the one hand 2 biodomes, sort of gigantic greenhouses reflecting the bio-diversity of the 5 continents but also a mini forest of super trees on the other hand. It’s just crazy! A must see!

Gardens by the bay – biodomes
Don’t miss the show (Garden Rhapsody) at 7:45 pm and 8:45 pm on the SuperTrees (Super tree grove). It doesn’t last long and it’s just breathtaking.

You feel like you’re in avatar or Star Wars!
9 – Visit the island of Pulau Ubin

The monkeys of Pulau Ubin
Rent a bicycle, ride through the rainforest (the road is signposted) and if you are lucky like us, watch wild boars and monkeys.
10 – Fill up with memories for your friends
Fans, chopsticks, Chinese calligraphy, anti mosquitoes (yes, it is always useful), tiger balm, coconut jam, a portrait of your loved ones (cut with a chisel), balm “…. guéritout “Chinese etc.
