Last night I had the pleasure of being the president of the jury of a contest organized by Yelp Bordeaux at English Country Kitchen to elect the best Bordeaux chocolate.
We were a little more than twenty amateurs (regular customers like you and me) observing the aspect, the puffing, tasting, biting, touching etc.. Life is hard :p
After everyone has voted, the award for the best chocolatine 2016 was almost unanimously awarded to the chocolate from Antone Artisan Boulanger (125 rue de Laseppe) with an average score of 16.6, followed in second place by La Fabrique Pains et Bricoles (47 rue du Pas Saint Georges) with a score of 15.6 and Le Fournil des Capucins (62 cours de la Marne) with an average score of 13.9.
Congratulations to you.
It was really interesting to compare all these chocolates and see how different they could be. You can see the list of bakeries that agreed to participate on the yelp blog.
Thank you Cyrielle for this great experience.
