At the moment I have a lot of work to do. I create recipes for brands and I always buy more ingredients than I need. I’m always afraid that I’m missing something. It happened to me in the beginning and it quickly turned into a disaster.
Honey (to my son or daughter), you should go to the corner store right away to buy … an orange, parsley, yogurt or whatever. Can you go there steplait ?? Yes but NOW. The light is going down, the picture is going to be really ugly.
You can imagine how happy the children were that they had to leave what they were doing to go shopping. JOY.
In a nutshell.
After many galleys, now if I need 1 orange, I buy 2 and I’m safe. Then I ask myself what to do with the 2nd orange that has not been used. You can’t have it both ways.
So with the leftovers from the recipes, we invent a new vegetarian salad. It’s like the cool double kiss effect. And besides, it’s good. What more could you ask for? The recipe maybe? Here it is:
For 4 persons :
And for the sauce:
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of pepper
Prepare the seasoning : Pour in a bowl 1 pinch of salt, 1 pinch of pepper and the honey. Mix with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and add the 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
Peel the orange and slice it into thin slices. Wash the fennel, remove the first layer if it is damaged and then cut it also into thin slices. Peel the shallot and chop it. Remove the skin and stone from the avocado and cut it into strips.
Put the whole in a dish, sprinkle with the sauce and sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
Enjoy your meal!
