Chicken with honey and soy sauce – Yoghurt sauce
It was via Facebook that I got the idea for this recipe. Roseline and Juliette were chatting about one of Emmanuelle’s recipes saying it was too good and poof the giraffe. They made me want it too much, I had to make it. And I can tell you that we enjoyed this chicken cooked Asian style. It’s super simple and delicious. Don’t forget the yoghurt sauce, it brings a lot of freshness to the dish. Thank you girlfriends!
For 2 persons :
- 2 escalopes of chicken
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
For the yoghurt sauce:
Pour the soy sauce into a dish. Add the honey and mix. Cut the chicken cutlets into strips, place them in the previously prepared marinade, mix and leave to stand for about 15 minutes.

Marinate the chicken
Meanwhile, prepare the yoghurt sauce:
Peel and press a pod of ai in a small ramekin. Add the plain yoghurt, the juice of half a lemon, a pinch of salt and a pinch of Espelette chilli pepper. Mix and reserve in the refrigerator.
30 minutes later: Pour the olive oil into a frying pan. Heat over high heat. Pour in the chicken and its marinade and cook for 5 to 6 minutes, still on high heat.
Serve with yoghurt sauce and basmati rice.
